Shain Kroenecke has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Nutrition, Food, and Agriculture, and Tony Nelson has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Industrial & Specialty Materials.
These promotions mark a significant milestone for AVEKA, reflecting the company’s commitment to customer success and leadership from within.
Shain Kroenecke: Visionary Leadership in Nutrition, Food, and Agriculture
In his new role, Shain Kroenecke will lead AVEKA’s efforts across the nutrition, food, and agriculture sectors at our facilities in Fredericksburg and Waukon, Iowa. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Shain brings a strong background in quality, safety, operations, and customer engagement. His focus will be on executing AVEKA’s strategic plan for profitable growth and delivering solutions to complex challenges in various industries.
Shain has been a cornerstone of the AVEKA team for over a decade, previously serving as VP of Iowa Operations and Sales and as General Manager of AVEKA Manufacturing. His deep understanding of customer needs and operational excellence makes him uniquely suited to oversee key accounts and ensure a quality, industry-leading customer experience.
Outside of work, Shain enjoys spending time outdoors, golfing, and fishing with family and friends, always chasing that next big catch.
Tony Nelson: Driving Growth in Industrial & Specialty Materials
Tony Nelson steps into the role of Senior Vice President of Industrial & Specialty Materials, where he will be responsible for expanding AVEKA’s footprint in a wide range of industrial markets. With a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and a strong track record in project development and execution, Tony is committed to helping clients bring their ideas to life with the right resources and technical support.
In his role, Tony will focus on growing existing business, identifying new opportunities, and delivering custom solutions that meet complex processing needs. Known for his energy and collaborative approach, Tony is a trusted partner to both customers and colleagues alike.
When he’s not in the office, Tony enjoys coaching youth sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
