The AVEKA Group is seeking a Production Operator who will be responsible for running a variety of equipment to process ingredients for the food, nutraceutical, personal care and pet care industries.

AVEKA’s strong training and development program, will guide you through learning all production jobs and help you grow into a Trainer, Lead, Coordinator, or Production Foreman.

General Position Details:

The Production Operator is a key member of the Operations Team where you will learn to operate over 33 different unit operations including: drying, milling, blending, screening, packaging and many more. You will be responsible for:

  • Operating multiple unit operations, extensive training and cross training is provided
  • Assist engineers with set-up and implementation of new and existing processes
  • Work with Production Management to identify process improvements

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Speak, read, and write English
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Basic math, ability to use calculator
  • Ability to attain a forklift license
  • Lifting 50-60 pounds, repetitively
  • Bending, squatting, standing or walking for 90% of an 8-10 hour shift
  • Reliable transportation

Schedule: 8 hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week with a weekend rotating schedule (schedules are available up to 6 weeks in advance). Available shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am (can vary by location).

Pay: Minimum pay of $14.00 with a shift premium of $0.50-$1.00 depending on shift. Applicants with manufacturing experience will start at higher pay rate.

Bonus: The AVEKA Manufacturing and AVEKA Nutra Processing facilities offer a hiring and retention bonus: $1,000, $500 after 6 weeks and $500 after 6 months.
