   Project Overview:
AVEKA's customer had a need for their phytosterols to be delivered in a spherical bead form and the spherical bead needed to be in a defined particle size range for a food application.

AVEKA Solution:
AVEKA performed pilot work to determine the proper way to handle this high-melting material and the proper equipment parameters to achieve the desired particle size distribution at optimum rates. Once a satisfactory pilot prototype was made, the project then moved on to AVEKA's large scale food grade production.
AVEKA employed its high-temperature liquid handling and bead-making expertise in order to achieve a product that was superior to existing products.
The client is now a recurring production customer because of AVEKA's ability to consistently meet their needs.
