Contract Manufacturing
AVEKA Group is a contract toll processor of particulate based materials and products. We are a company with a diverse processing base serving companies from small start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations in the areas of food, personal care products, industrial chemical materials and everything in between. We will work with you to develop a product or process from its initial conception, to producing pilot quantities, to manufacturing qualified full production amounts. AVEKA Group has the equipment and knowledge to meet your needs in grinding, spray drying, particle coating, microencapsulation, screening, blending, and characterization. Large quantities or small, once a year or 24/7, we will work with you to produce the best and most consistent product possible.
Contract Manufacturing Process
Since the expectations and material sets for each project are unique, our process for working together includes:
- Setting clear and defined expectations for both parties in the form of a fixed bid proposal.
- Defining contact points for each party, including a project manager and project engineer from AVEKA.
- As needed we also assign a quality engineer, outsourcing manager, and contacts for shipping logistics and other needs defined in our interaction.
- At the start of every project, the operators and engineers are trained to handle the new materials and processes. Training includes quality requirements, equipment procedures, operational and material handling safety, packaging, labeling, and other points as they pertain to the specific process or materials.
For small scale projects that typically take a week or less to complete, the AVEKA project manager handles any problems that occur during the project and follows up with the customer as necessary.
Start-up of larger projects or full-scale production may include validation runs, depending on the quality requirements. We use the start-up to refine SOPs, debug the process, and suggest opportunities for process and yield improvements.
During the project, we continue to maintain close contact with our customers which, for large projects, includes regular conference calls and visits as required. Good communication across all functions is the key to successful interactions.
